Je suis maintenant un vieil homme et, si j’avais consulté mon propre confort, je n’aurais jamais écrit une ligne de ce livre, car depuis quelques années j’ai eu la cataracte aux deux yeux, de sorte que ce n’était pas sans difficulté que je pouvais lire ou lire. écrire. Si grand, cependant, semblait être le besoin, et étant toujours soucieux de servir ma génération, j’ai décidé d’entreprendre ce travail, afin d’exposer les erreurs de l’astronomie moderne, qui sont si contraires à la Parole de Dieu, et si propices à la promotion de l’infidélité.
